The smoothness and rigidity of the discharge electrodes are just as important in the efficiency of the electrostatic precipitators as the straightness of the collecting plates. For this reason, the necessary precautions should be taken considering the sensitivity of the discharge electrodes
both during the manufacturing process and during the assembly phase.
